Welcome to WECANN! We are a group of concerned residents of Boston’s north shore, working for equality, social justice, and fair treatment for all.
Building a Cape Ann *intersectional feminist* women’s group is an idea that originally grew out of the energy around the Women’s Equality Panel that took place October 15, 2016 here in Gloucester, MA.
– We meet to support each other, cover current events affecting local people, and consider how we can best address them.
– We host public events, lobby our representatives, and remain active participants in our democracy.
– We also consider books and other media to read collectively and share our reflections.
